Savvy Shopping at the Harris Teeter

For those of you that don't know, I started couponing in late July. I've spent a lot of time learning, printing/clipping coupons and shopping the best deals around town. At times, I think I'm a little obsessed; especially when I stay up until midnight printing hundreds of coupons, many of which I never use. I've been on quite the ride trying to find rock bottom prices and then pairing it with a coupon in order to pay little to nothing for food and toiletries. Last week, I hit the big time during triple coupons at Harris Teeter!!! I've been waiting six weeks since the last big coupon promotion at Harris Teeter so when the day came for triples to start, you better believe I had my coupons ready!!! I made three separate trips because you can only use 20 coupons per day. I got the following for $40!!!

1 lb Bag Harris Teeter Sugar, 1 Bag Wacky Mac Pasta, 1 Box of Mueller's Pasta, 2 Jars Duke's Mayo, 2 Cans Carnation Milk, 2 Bottles Life Water, 4 Packs Tuna, 1 Fresh Dole Pineapple, 1 Can Dole Pineapple, 2 Cans Baking Powder, 2 Packs Self Rising Yeast, 2 Packs of Dole Fruit with Jello, 2 Packs Taco Mix, 1 Can Rotel, 2 Sauve Deodorants, 1 Jar Dill Relish, 1 Bottle of Heinz Ketchup, 2 Boxes Cereal, 1 Bag of NoYolk Noodles, 1 Bag Frozen Rolls, 1 Bag Frozen Potatoes, 1 Bottle of Mustard, 1 Bottle Spray Butter, 2 Tubs of Butter, 6 Pack Yogurt, 4 Pack Batteries, 1 Box Tissues, 3 Bottles Hot Sauce, 2 Boxes Pampers Wipes, 2 Bags Croutons, 1 Can French's Onions, 1 Bottle Worcester Sauce, 2 Packages Muffin Mix, 4 Pack Toilet Paper, 1 Roll Paper Towels, 2 Half Gallons Whole Organic Milk, 1 Bottle Dish Soap, 1 Bottle Hand Soap, 2 Bottle Kids Shampoo, 1 Can Condensed Milk, 1 Box Baby Cookies, 1 Bottle Lotion, 1 Tube Toothpaste.

I posted pictures as proof.

  1. I just read this and you are hilarious!! Where do you find your coupons online? We have a brand new Wal-Mart in town so I'm inclined to go there now. They have always seemed cheapest when I'm not using coupons.
