Carrington's Spring Gymnastics Show

Carrington took gymnastics class this winter/spring on Saturday morning with Hayden, our neighbor and one of Carrington's best buds. We switched to the Tuesday class for the last month so unfortunately they weren't in the spring show together.

Carrington did a great job showing off her skills and many acrobatic talents during the program. Grayson loves watching his sissy through the glass window each week so it was an extra special treat for him to watch her up close during the show.

We are taking a break for the summer but I have a good feeling she'll be back on the mat come fall. She really loves going to class each week and does a great job!

Grayson is walking!!

Grayson decided to start walking, so at 14 months old he is upright! It seems like it happened over night as he was mostly crawling and then one day decided to walk, and left the crawling completely behind. I was pretty much ok with him crawling for so long, it meant less chasing for me. Now,  the chase is on! It's a constant battle to keep him off the steps. For some reason he is more fascinated than ever to be able to make it to the top before I figure out what he's up too. Playing outside is a whole new experience too. He can reach the dirt, sticks, playset, and any other thing that's not meant to be climbed or gotten into before I can even get a running start. It's a fun new world for him, and honestly...it's a lot of fun for us to watch!!

Easter Celebration!

Easter week was packed full of learning about Jesus and the reason we celebrate Easter, crafts, baking, egg hunts, coloring eggs, and spending time with family and friends.
