A trip to see a "mouse"

A couple Saturday's ago we went to Chuck E Cheeses for the first time. My cousins, Aunt, Granny Roach and Granny Sims were a long for the fun.

Carrington and the "Mouse"

Big Kid, Little Kid

I was so glad the girls and Melissa took her in the jungle gym thing. It was very tight and I know full of germs. I tried to go in, but IMMEDIATELY wanted out!

Look at her go!
Katy looks miserable, and was ready to get out at that point. Too bad for her, Carrington and Kelly were having a blast and planned to stay in that spot until the place closed.

I can see you!

Pretty little girls.

Cheese!

Whew!

What a relief for me, she was finally out of the germ-o-tank!

A Granny doing what they do best, feeding their grands junk food.

Who is this big, purple guy?

Up, Up, and Away!

She loved the coin cup more than anything else. She carried it everywhere and didn't want to let go.

Just having a good time.

Big kids can have fun too!

Enjoying the ride.

Exploring the Great Outdoors

The weather in Wilmington over the weekend was gorgeous! Finally, the temperature reached the average for this time a year and we broke into the 60's. There is a new nature park right down from our house. It has trails, a canoe/kayak launch into the river and a picnic area. It's going to be a great place to explore this spring and summer. Also, Aaron is thrilled because he can ride his mountain bike along the trails, and Peepaw needs to bring his canoe down so they can go out in the river.

Yep, she's gotta look good no matter where she goes!
I got a great workout pushing the jogging stroller through the woods
Man's Best friend
Three Amigos
I love you!!!
Marsh
Canoe and Kayak Launch...there are definitely creatures in the water that I don't want to encounter, so the canoe ride will be without this mama!
Coastal Country
Adventurous Family, haha!
She did not want to touch the pine cone. I've noticed lately that she doesn't like touching things that get her hands dirty...unless it's food!!
Precious!

Wilmington Children's Museum

On Saturday we checked out the Children's Museum. I did not have high expectations because I wasn't sure if Carrington would really enjoy it at this age or if the museum would have a lot to offer. Well, she enjoyed every minute - running from one room to the next, exploring all the neat play areas, and experiencing new things. It's a fantastic place and I look forward to future trips.

Driving Daddy Around
Glow in the Dark Room
Crocked House - Daddy I need one of these!
I think she is ready for a boat ride this summer!
So stinkin' cute!
Cooking and Eating, two things we both enjoy.
Medium rare with mustard 'be nice...
Crazy mirror thing, get me outta here!
A woman after my own heart...loves to go grocery shopping
This one looks good
Hmm...what's over there?
I love my daddy!
Practicing her kayak skills so she can go out with Peepaw this summer
This is how we brush our teeth, brush our teeth, brush our teeth...
Your heart sounds bee-u-ti-ful!
Love to play, both of them
This is about as close to camping as she will ever get. I prefer camping, inside, without the bugs!

To "Do" or Not to "Do"

Are you seeing these curls!! This is what Carrington's hair looks like after she gets out of the bath. I might do a little fluffing to get them to spring to life but I think she has entered the wild side with her mom! Only problem is, she doesn't have enough hair to make the curls stay once it's dry. It just goes wild in a "not my favorite look way"! Should I put some baby styling product in her hair to get the curls to stay. If so, is there such a a thing, baby styling product???

Alright, I gotta go...I'm way to busy for this mess, this phone call is very important!!!
