The weather in Wilmington over the weekend was gorgeous! Finally, the temperature reached the average for this time a year and we broke into the 60's. There is a new nature park right down from our house. It has trails, a canoe/kayak launch into the river and a picnic area. It's going to be a great place to explore this spring and summer. Also, Aaron is thrilled because he can ride his mountain bike along the trails, and Peepaw needs to bring his canoe down so they can go out in the river.

Canoe and Kayak Launch...there are definitely creatures in the water that I don't want to encounter, so the canoe ride will be without this mama!

She did not want to touch the pine cone. I've noticed lately that she doesn't like touching things that get her hands dirty...unless it's food!!
