November 3, 2010 - The 2nd Birthday!!

After a week of pre-partying, the actual birthday arrived! So, what did she do on Wednesday, November 3, 2010...
She started the day in mommy and daddy's bed watching the one and only Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. No leaving Minnie out.
She put on her best party dress and grabbed her pocket book for some grocery shopping.
She opened birthday presents from her friends.
Thanks, Fletcher for the broom...
and princess cash register.
"Hmm, how do I get this one open?"
"I think I'll tackle it"
Thank you, Andrew for the dollhouse!
"These will look great on me and keep me very warm this winter" Thanks, Hayden for the Tinkerboat PJ's.
"Look Mommy, Piggy Party. How did Maaike know it's one of my favorites?" Thank you!
Food for the doll baby. Thank you, baby Cooper.
Minnie Mouse gets her full attention.
Totally amazed that the book has her name in it. Super cool! Giselle, thank you!
After presents, she went out to eat the best food ever invented, PIZZA!
She made a final stop at the Toy Store to purchase a new baby doll stroller.

And in true fashion...she took off running from her mom and dad!
Fitting that this picture would bring us to the end of her 2nd birthday.
What an incredibly, amazing 2nd Birthday Miss Carrington had and it looks like she is ready to run full steam ahead into the next year of life.

2nd Birthday Party at the Wilmington Children's Museum

Carrington's 2nd birthday party was held at the Wilmington Children's Museum. It was the perfect location, as all the kids were constantly smiling while engaged in an activity of some sort. The theme of her 2nd party was "Painting". Each child was given a paint canvas and palate of paint to create their own master piece. I also included a large canvas for the kids to paint on that will later be hung in Carrington's toddler room. We loved all the color, fun decorations, delicious food, and good times!
