Easter week at the new house

Our moves seem to coincide with a holiday. This time it was Easter, last couple of times, Christmas. It's fun to celebrate in a new place and try new events. So, jump right in, we did! The week was busy with a Easter party at Mommy and Me on Monday, an Egg Hunt in the neighborhood on Saturday, and celebrating Jesus on Sunday.

The pictures are out of order. First up...Neighborhood Egg Hunt.

Waiting to get the hunt started.
He wasted no time filling up his basket. During the hunt he found a purple, sparkly egg and brought it back to Carrington. Funny enough, that egg was a "prize egg" and C won a basket full of goodies. She was kind enough to return the love and share the basket with Grayson.
Hudson is always along for the ride, at least at this age.
C's turn at the egg hunt. They were split up by age so she went at a different time than Grayson.

The hunt was followed by a train ride around the parking lot. Hudson finally got his turn out of the stroller.
 On to the petting zoo.
Look, don't touch is my motto when it comes to animals.
Proud of C for following the rules.
Until, she saw the pony and wanted to take a ride on Taco.

And then she saw that she could brush one of the nasty creatures. I'm cringing as I look at the picture. Gross, gross, gross! My boy, Grayson, well he still feels the same way as mom. The further away from them, the better!
Sims Party of Five enjoy the new adventure!

Easter Sunday!!
The bunny came and left a table full of goodies.

Do you know what happens when a little boy gets a bike and can finally go riding with his oh, so cool older sister!! Needless to say, he hasn't been off the bike since he got it.
 Coloring Easter Eggs...

Daddy helped out and then managed to drop a dozen of beautifully colored eggs on the floor, RIGHT after they finished. C spent the next hour crying, asking how he could do that to her. Hah!
Hudson enjoyed his first Easter!! So much sweetness in that smile.
Dressed in their Sunday best for church.
He wore pants to church, promise.

Mommy and Me Easter Party.
M&M is a weekly group for kids that live in our neighborhood. A sweet lady, Miss Janet, teaches the kids a new letter each week, sings songs with them, and reads a story. They also get to do a craft and have a snack. It's great for both the older kids. H enjoys crawling around and watching all the action.

Bunny love!
Precious little buddies
Doing the bunny hop, hop, hop!

His daddy will be so proud when he sees him in pink, glittery bunny ears!
C and her new best buddy, Summer

Happy Easter!!!
